What is Spiritual Healing?

Healing is an exchange of energies between the healer, who acts as a channel, and the client. As the energy is responsible for the well-being of the mental, physical, and emotional aspects of the human being, the healer channels this life energy to the recipient, assisting in the body natural ability to heal itself.

What is this Energy?

This energy has many names, and is, in fact, recognized in many of the "isms", such as Buddhism, and Taoism. It has also been called Universal Life force, the God Force, Prana, Ki, Chi, and many, many others. It is the vital life energy that flows through all living things and which can be used for healing others, for self healing, or for working with animals, plants, and the universe.

Can it do any harm?

The simple answer is no. Healing will complement, and assist, the effectiveness of most kinds of medication and treatment. It is a completely safe, natural, and holistic way of treating disease. Although within the ethics of Spiritual Healing, it is strongly recommended that you consult your Doctor if you are unwell, and use healing to assist and medication prescribed.

Do only the Religious benefit?

Whatever the personal belief of the patient is, or the healer, his does not alter their ability to be healed, or to give healing. The Universal Life Force is totally nondenominational - and has no boundaries.

Tina Parfitt Cert Ed

In June 2006 Meg Simpson asked Tina to help with Pathways Spiritual Centre for Awareness and Healing.

Tina has worked as a Healer for quite a number of years, training with NFSH* and taking varoius courses to improve her knowledge and skills. In march of 2006 she was approached by David Roe of the LDHA* to become the area Mentor / Coordinator for the Healing with the LDHA.

Previously a Lecturer in ICT* at Southport College, she has now dedicated her time and effort into helping train up and coming Healers for the LDHA through Pathways Spiritual Centre.

All spiritual healers who work within Pathways are required to either be qualified or probationary healers of the LDHA.
